Guys,
The passenger side heater is refusing to work and the freezing cold air is not only upsetting the Mrs but the cold air also has a habit of coming over to my side and ruining my nice warm driving environment.

Is this a common problem with a common fix........does each side its own heater radiator or has some sort of servo motor failed?

Cheers,

Tony

If you take it into a dealer Tony, they will be able to diagnose it very quickly as the diagnostics on the climate unit is very good . I don't know how much they will charge for the diagnostic though .

Dan.

I'm not realy a fan of the Jag dealers atm following a very recent £388 service during which they failed to spot two nails in one tyre, a cracked expansion tank that then puked its contents onto a carpark in Switzerland last week, and during which service they found no requirement to replace the failed antiroll bar bushes they fitted less than 6 months ago........which are now knocking louder still. (They also wanted to charge me over £750 for a complete brake service that I did myself two days later including all parts for less than £200.)

Hence my desire to fix the problem, if I can, myself. I also think the failed heater and expansion tank issue may be linked.

Cheers,

Tony

Ah fair enough, thats very poor .

I'm not sure of any other ways you can find out where the fault lies unfortunately unless any others know of a common problem with the climate.

Hope someone else can assist and you get it sorted soon, cheaply .

Regards,
Dan.
