TWR Design Data - 3D Models, and drawings.
Discussion
Hello all,
I have discovered I have lots of data that was left on some computer systems I purchased as scrap. These old computers (Unix) had, or have as far as I can see, lots of engineering data. I am a CAD/Design chappy, so found this stuff quite interesting.
I am archiving it all now, 100's of GB worth, but wondered if I should call Jaguar to let them know this lot has got out?.
whats the best approach to take, the equipment is worth a great deal to me (Servers, workstations etc), its all Silicon Graphics equipment, so not standard PC stuff.

You might have to tread carefully. Though you've acquired the equipment I doubt you've automatically acquired the intellectual property the data represents - and if it is Jaguar or Aston Martin or Volvo or Holden or whichever other manufacturer they might reasonably try to exert their rights...
