Hello All!

I was considering taking my XJR to a rolling road (with some colleagues at work) and am told that they dont allow automatics. I wonder, is this always the case? I'm sure that I was told (by Jagman i believe) when I first went to Racing Green (some 3 years ago) that they had put XJR's on rolling roads but that the results weren't very accurate due to the engine management making compensations as the engine started to get hot. Any thoughts/ experiences on all this will be read with interest! (I know that the 'R' club were due to arrange a rr session some time ago and assume there would have been autos a plenty there, mine included!).

It is also true that these cars get hot on the rollers and you loose power, but providing the rollers fan is good enough, and its nice and cold, you should be able to get a few runs out of them

Hello Vixpy1, thanks for the reply! Sounds good. Just had a quick look at your website, does being auto mean that mine would be more expensive than your standard rate? Also, how many people do you need for a block booking (and hopefully discounts!). Any other Piston Headers interested?

No.. No more for a standard power test if its Auto.

Have done NormanD's a few times.

Prices for group sessions depend on how many cars, drop me a mail to charlie@surreyrollingroad.co.uk if you have some rough numbers and i can do you a quote.
