Why is it that the head lamps on my XK8 sometimes have condensation on the inside of the glass?
How can this be rectified without resorting to new lights?

chris,
mine does this as well,i have checked for cracks in the glass and bad seals but can find nothing to direct me to the cause..bloody annoying as could be mot failure some one told me.
only way i found to rid of problem is to have the lights on then go for a long drive the heat will eventually burn of the condense.

regards

Common problem, there is a service bulletin out for this and will be done under Jag warranty, if you got one still. Basically they drill holes in the back of the lights with a drain.

Hi Chris, I had mine done under warranty, but if it's outside warranty, or you fancy having a go yourself, then try this link (hope it works!!) http://homepage.ntlworld.com/mx6-uk/jag/tsb/417-05am
