XJR on trackday

Yep I took it out on track at Donington last Saturday.

It was, um, interesting. Stayed impressively flat through Craners, reached a higher top speed down the straights than our Exige and brakes lasted a good 10 laps before fading.
I wasn't sure if turning the DSC off actually turned it off fully though. I'm sure I could feel it still activating ABS, and not allowing full power on the apex of bends. Anyone know if there is a special way of turning it off fully?
Think I would have been better off using the gearbox manually, but couldn't get on with the lever too well when flying down Craners at over 100mph (by the way, it's a doddle to control when the back slides out at 3 figure speeds).
Was by no means the slowest thing out there, though possibly the strangest. Think I'll stick to the road in future.

Was toying with the idea of doing this myself at some point - good to hear that it can cope!
With regards to the traction thingy, I believe the diff uses electrickery to slightly apply the brakes on either side of the rear axle to effectively create an LSD. Could it be this that you are feeling?
As fare as I know, this is a permanent system as opposed to the traction control which should turn fully off.
Good show though!
