I've owned a X type estate for around twelve months now and one of the options I chose was 18 inch Aruba alloys which look great but have been a real problem from the word go.
So far a week hardly goes by when the tyres don't loose pressure, I have buckled two of the alloys during normal driving and now I'm getting a vibration from the front which leaves me to believe I've another wheel knackered.
I've had plenty of cars with alloys and never suffered this issue previously is it me or are there others out there with the same issue.
cheers
Steve

I have a 2003 x type with 17 inch alloys, my dealer should have replaced 3 under warranty last weekend because of bubbling but could only replace 2 as the 3rd arrived with a scratch already present.
Most of my cars in the last 25 years have had alloys and unfortunately the jaguar is the first to cause me concern. While waiting for my car on Saturday, I looked at the dealer's used cars across all the jaguar range and many appear to have bubbbling or cracks.
As a bought in item jaguar need to sort out the quality of Alloys from the supplier, as it is detrimental to the quality of the car.
cheers
