I have a 2000 XKR. Borla exhaust, lower pulley change and larger intercooler.

Before any mods, i was getting around 5.2 to 60mph. Now, with a G2 Escort timer, i have clocked under 4.2 many times. i know the timer is not that accurate, but there is a very noticeable difference in acceleration. it was very evident after the pulley change - i was chirping the wheels when i never did before. As for the imtercooler, I cant tell if it has increased power, but since installation I have noticed I get some popping and gurgling from the exhaust - never had that before.

As for racing on the expressway (as we call them here in Japan) - I have taken an SL55, M3 and a variety of carreras. I had a go at a GT3 and was level to 100kmh but after that he pulled about 4 car lengths up to 240 when we both stopped.

I am very happy with the results of the minor mods I have done.

i bought big brakes from Movit, but despite a guarantee these will fit under 18 inch stock wheels, they dont. So I have a battle with them right now. Anyone know big brakes that fit 18 inch stock wheels?

Cheers

The picture on Movit`s website must have spacers on the wheel to give an extra 10mm or so clearance.

Movit`s dealer in Japan, and Jaguar Japan, could not fit the kit i got from Movit, unfortunately.

I do have 30mm spacers, also from Racing Green.
They are easy to fit. They fit over the standard threads. There are new threads on the spacers for the wheels to bolt on to.

I have also had the susspention lowered by a bout 50mm

I wish i had seen your website before choosing Movit. I got their guarantee that no spacers are needed, mainly because in Japan, anything more that about 10mm will prejudice the car`s abililty to pass the japanese MOT. The photo on their website gave me a false sense of security. Now, movit is messing around refusing to reimburse me. Quite unreasonable, even after their own dealer here could not fit. I will have to sue them. What a mess.
