XKR auto gearbox interlock

I left the car parked for a couple of days, when I came back to it, the door unlocked from the keyfob, the engine started but I could not get the gearshift to move. its jammed by the interlock even with the engine running and my foot on the brake (brake lights come on) when I got out of the car it will not lock with the keyfob anymore, but I hear a clicking sound from the door.
I was able to get going by manually releasing the gearshift interlock but i need to fix this and the door locking thing.
any help really appreciated.
