Just a quick question does anyone know much about the different options for a D type or C type replica. Or where I can find out more.

And if so which series you can race them in

Thanks

Don't know much but you could try contacting Peter Hugo at Racing Green Cars. They sell a splendid C-Type Replica

www.racinggreencars.com/

Peter and his colleagues are encyclopaedic in their knowledge of all things Jaguar

ps Here's the website I was looking for

Not sure about replica C & D types, but just next to Peter's desk is a lovely XJ13 replica.

Don't know how Revival Motorsport's replicas compare with the others, but they're certainly fun!

My brother has a c-type replica by Proteus Sportscars ( www.proteuscars.co.uk ). It's pretty much an exact copy in ally, using all period Jaguar bits.

He's managed to enter it in several period events, but has had problems with scrutiny on several occasions due to its contemporary build date - despite the fact that all the bits are identical. Its only a replica after all, so in answer to what events you can enter - you do what you can get away with I reckon!
