New to the club, my little Civic finally gave up the ghost so I treated myself to this, fairly low mileage (63k) in mint condition, previous owner was an 82 year old former businessman, dealer informs me he had it from new. I've paid £5900 for it and quite happy.

Looks like sensible sized wheels too, 18"?

The nicest driving XF I've had was a 2008 4.2 V8 on the base 18" wheels, it was miles better than the later ones I drove on 20" wheels.

According to the sales blurb, they're 17". It's the 2.2D auto in luxury spec.

Yep they're 17"s, I used to have a Luxury in Lunar Grey - the ride is unsurprisingly fabulous compared to the bigger wheeled models.

Enjoy.

Cheers, can't come soon enough, my old Civic decided to wreck the clutch on my way to work. RAC are bringing it home later today, they provided a taxi free of charge to get me home after my night shift.

Nice car.

I do miss my XF. It was a Studio model, owned originally by a JLR executive, one owner, 2010, BRG, barley interior, all the extras, V8 5.0L n/a engine with close on 400bhp. Lovely wafter and seriously fast when required, just like a Jaguar should be.
