Hi all have a 2020 P380 just had 3 new injectors at main dealer 3.5 k due to water ingress car done 5400 miles anything on market to stop water only seen duck tape, also to add car came back with cracked headlight cover after 2 months with main dealer

Welcome to JLR ownership! I sold my V6S 18 months ago due to the ever increasing bills, both monetary & frequency, but it was 8 years old with 50k miles.

Yet for some reason I find myself scrolling Autotrader for a replacement. It's like going back to an Ex, you know it's not going to be good for you or end well... but she was hot.....

I would be getting rid John assuming you are in a position to do so . Once Jaguar is reborn as an Electric entity future values will in my humble opinion fall rapidly

just had quote for jag f type p380 headlamp unit £3050 - jaguar are aware there is faults with the F Type both with the injectors 3 re0paced £3500 and the headlamps the car is a 2020 done 6k miles, anyone out there taken legal action over these issues?

Unsure a cracked headlight cover is the same as the DRL issue.

The common injector issue should have been sorted by 2020 with the repositioned bonnet vents, so unsure why you have that.

There’s a couple of routes with any car of this age. A main dealer warranty if bought from a main dealer. Or consumer protection. I’d get advice on the latter if you don’t have the former.

COLLECTED CAR DID 40 MILES ENGINE MANAGEMENT LIGHT ON CALLED OUT AA THEY FOUND FAULTY SENSOR IN EXHAUST CAR RETURNED TO JAGUAR HULL THEY CLAIM 2 SENSORS FAILED £950 TO REPAIR + £1220 FOR CRACKED HEADLAMP COVER
