Vanishing Juice
Discussion
This has happened twice to my wife's 95 XJ6, several months apart... Apparently when it's turned off the power dies completely (I divine this from the fact that the aerial stays up.)
When you go to re-start the car it's stone dead.
The first time, it magically repaired itself and restarted an 1 hour later.
The 2nd time (after sitting over-night), nothing. I pulled the battery and rear fuse box cover everything look clean and tight but in touching things I must have juggled something and the power came on.
Next time, I'll try to be carefully and see if I can test my way in a non-constructive fashion.
In the mean time, any ideas? Thanks Grady
