Hi

I've got the following quote from my local dealer:

£54,020 new

Spec:

Jaguar E-Pace R-Dynamic S 1.5 3 Cylinder 309PS PHEV Auto AWD
Ostuni Pearl White
20" Style 5120 Diamond Turned with Satin Dark Grey Contrast
All season tyres
Steel spare wheel
Fixed panoramic roof
Privacy Glass
Gloss black side window surround
LED headlights with signature DRL with read animated directioal indicators and auto high beam assist
Black exterior pack
Keyless entry

Does this price seem fair?

I usually compare via Coast to Coast and Car Wow. The former don't seem to do Jaguar now apart for leasing, and the latter didn't come close. Any others worth trying?

Many thanks

The first line of that quote is a sad read for a Jaguar.

How much cheaper is that compared to the configurator? Therefore what’s the discount by the dealer?

I’ve never warmed to the E-Pace, but that’s a lot of £££s for a very average vehicle.

It's actually for my uncle, so just trying to unpick it all now.

You're right - it's the same as the configurator shows.

I've used Coast 2 Coast for BMW before, and that's typically 8k off the list price.

Do I read '1.5 3 Cylinder 309PS' as a 1.5 litre 3 cylinder engine developing 309bhp?

If so they really should put two of them together and make a 618bhp 3.0 straight six!

For comparison my boat has a bigger 3 cylinder engine - 1.6 litres - but only develops 40hp.

I’d guess the 309 includes battery assistance. But a straight six of it all would be interesting.
