1996 XJR6 [X300] - No power to starter motor

My lovely old Jag wouldn't start up in the middle of nowhere the other day - all the accessories and lights were working but the engine wouldn't crank. The RAC man came and connected a battery straight to the starter motor and it started. Got it home fine, is there anything obvious worth checking before taking it to a garage (fuses/relays)?

I'll have a look tomorrow when I'm poking around, but I did try the jump pack on it and it didn't make a difference.
