X351 Diesel Tyres
Discussion
If you're looking mid range I have been impressed with the Kumho PS71. they were barely any worse performing than the ContiSportContact 5s I had on the back of a 510bhp twin turbo V12 S Class, and I'm a fussing fart with tyres who drives the car hard.
Anything but the J spec OE fit Dunlops, they're absolutely lethal in my experience.

Thankyou for the input.
I have opted mid range because the price of tyres seems to be extraordinary right now.
I have Hankook on the front end and the Kuhmo on the
rear end.
This is on my 2016 XJ, for information on my 98 XJR I have Vredesteins all round and Toyo Proxes prior to that, both performed equally well, loads of confidence in them

I have just bought a '16 XJ which will require new rear tyres before the winter so I've researched this topic a fair bit.
It's currently running J spec Dunlop's which is all very good from a buyers (me) point of view but know from previous experience with an XF that they are distinctly average.
I've narrowed my choice down to Toyo Proxes Sport or Hankook Ventus - both of which I've had on previous cars and offer decent all round performance at their price point.

Just to give feedback, I drove the XJ on the motorway today after getting tyres fitted this morning, this is the Hankook on the Front and the Kuhmo on the rears.
Absolutely ruined the drive, big vibration and rumble at 70 mph which gets worse with more speed.
Unless they have been incorrectly balanced they are coming off.
