Split intercooler replacement XF X250 3.0D

In my journey of slowly replacing my entire engine bay, part by part, I'm on to the intercooler.
Hit the familiar restricted performance yesterday, and opening the window I could hear the rushing air. Thankfully it wasn't the manifolds again, but it equally wasn't just a turbo hose. Poking around the bay, it looks like the flat seam on the drivers side intercooler/air charge cooler has split on the plastic box that connects to the throttle body hose.
Has anyone swapped the intercooler, and any advice on best OEM cooler and any problems whilst fitting?
