Anyone had issues with the timing belt on a E pace P200? Been contacted by a family friend who has been told point blank by the dealer that they need a new engine on a car that's done 23'000 or so miles..., 68 reg.
Car has always been serviced by the same Jag dealer, Harwoods Crawley

Jaguar have done the decent thing and will change the engine on this E pace FOC, especially welcome as the owners an elderly couple and the husband is disabled where very worried about the expected cost.

Well that’s a weight off their mind for sure . I have zero experience of the Model though I remember TelferST who used to post on Jaguar Forum a few years back saying he didn’t think they were great value for money . He sold the S Type which his disabled wife was struggling with and bought a Mitsubishi ASX saying it was better value for the money

Pretty sure the 2.0 Ingenium is chain driven, if that’s what’s in the E Pace?
