The MOT history is largely what you would expect with a couple of failures for minor items and the obligatory advisories for various suspension items .

i am looking for something tasty for the summer...

Have seen all the posts here over the last cpla years comparing smaller ragtops. usual suspects....Boxsters, MX 5, Z3/4......

But its "difficult" just finding something...differant.

My last few fun cars were, in order of purchase.

MGB
CHIMAERA
BOXTER S
TR7.

All bought for less than £10k and sold on after a couple of years to fun the next. The TR7 is maybe sold, so am now looking. The MG F/TF doesnt scare me...maybe. The XK8 is maybe too much of a waft machine... A small Alfa...Spider?? I do not like mazda's at all...........

106,000 miles and £11k for the Mercedes , add 5,000 miles and whats it worth ? Factoring in depreciation of the Mercedes over a years ownership , the VXR could end up costing as little as an additional £6k in the initial purchase price over the same mileage and next to no depreciation at the end .
Shortcomings as I see it is that its a more specialised buy than the Mercedes and you may have to wait for the right Buyer come exit time .
