After some issues with the washers on my f type, I traced it back to a broken hose within the driver's side wiper. Quite common according to the dealer, you can only buy the whole wiper arm (about £40) and not just the hose.

Anyway, all fitted now but having suffered with poor washers for so long I can't remember what they should be like! Right now I'm getting what can only be described as a fast dribble from both jets, the fluid does make it's way onto the screen but it's by no means a spray.

When I fitted the arm I blasted the other hoses and jets with air to ensure no blockages anywhere but still they seem a little lack lustre.

Are they all like this?

No , it should be a powerful jet from both wiper arms is the short answer . We have already covered this issue on here a short while ago .
