2009 XKR 5.0L supercharged. My headlights seem to be adjusting up and down randomly as I drive along which I'm presuming is something to do with self levelling going wrong? The headlamps go through their normal set up on start up but then flick up and down as I drive. Any suggestions?

There's a height sensor bolted to the rear subframe with the other end attached to one of the upper suspension wishbones. First port of call would be to check that out - it may have a dodgy connection or be worn-out.

About £160 for a replacement sensor, which is a bit steep for what is basically a variable resistor.

Thanks for the tip. I'm surprised its on the rear though, I'd have thought it would have been fronts.

The rear is where the luggage goes... the weight of the engine won't change.
