XKR - Boot height question

Hi folks,

Doing the man maths and 'justification' on a late XKR; wondering if anyone can help with the height of the boot at the seat backs (yellow line in the pic)

I have had a look Online and throughout my Paperwork as I owned one of these but sadly nothing . What I was going to suggest is that the measurement the OP requires can be increased by lifting the carpet and removing the spare wheel .

Just carry smaller things (Or have a friend with an estate car, which is my way round it)

I have just measured 18” up to the shelf, beyond that is where the boot lid comes down to. Even if remove the shelf from the boot lid, you will only gain a couple of inches at best.
The tape measure in the photo must be at an angle, if you go straight up from the boot floor, you meet the shelf.
