I think you should maybe ask the same question over on the Classic Section of this Forum , a beautiful car the S Type that sadly seems to be forever in the shadow of the Mk2 . For me its the far better car .

As Reddiesel says any discussion about classic Jags tends to get split between this forum and the Classic cars' one.
There has been a long running discussion there about the use of S-Types by the boys in blue

Sadly the moderators here take a dim view of cross posting so we are probably stuck with discussions being split between forums.

Great cars, it would be instructive if all those involved in the design and development of car's suspension systems would made to go for a ride in an S-Type.

Yes indeed! Somewhere along the line in the history of car making, comfort got forgotten.
