Evening

Wondered if this was a 'thing' with them !

I have a 2006 XK Convertible 4.2 dropped something in the back and noticed that the carpet on the passenger footwell is sodden - no obvious signs of water ingress so I'm assuming its coming up from underneath ? Too wet at teh moment to crawl under it but alarmed at how wet it was, had teh car 4 months and no other issues in that respect - other footwells are bone dry

Any one else had it ?

It's probably the air con vent drain (Well documented)loads of articles on tinternet that's blocked it ends up draining through heater blower ,just drop trim three torxs and it's out.,fix for a 5£ part is either dash out or gearbox drop some people have managed to snip end of duck bill off that sticks together best of luck

In the rear passenger footwell?

I had a 2006 XK 'vert and it was perfectly dry inside.

One tip for tracing water leaks is to dust the surface with talc. Are the windows closing and sealing properly?

Aircon makes front passenger carpet wet? Think the X150 along with the X100 have gulleys in the rear to drain water that comes off the roof and thats what will be blocked. Had a leak on my X100 and just cleared the drain holes.
