XF Sportbrake aux battery - what does it power?

The ECO not available symbol has come up on the dashboard and the small battery in the boot is at 0 volts.

I know this powers (or should do) the stop/ start system - does it power anything else?

I'm not bothered about stop start as where I live we vary rarely stop for more than 30 seconds so don't need to stop/start and generally turn the system off at the start of each journey.

As far as I am aware it powers the lights and accessories whilst the engine is switched off . The main Battery powers the stop start

The smaller battery provides power to 'critical' components during restarting of the engine by the big battery.
