XK meets a tree :-(
Discussion
Bugger.
It was only a small tree, a bush really, even so I'm going to have to rebuild the rear suspension (damn curb) and need a new rear near side wing and door, doesn't look structural. Can any of you chaps offer advice on a good company for the work? I'm only talking about the body work, the rest I will do myself, I'm in Lincoln, or Birmingham (two houses), so in that area would be best.
I'm thinking it's going to be expensive, the door I will try and get S/H but the rear wing will need the windows removing and a hell of a lot of welding, it's got to be the second largest panel on the car!
Oh well, these things happen, at least I'm still alive to write about it :-)

Terrible news, but at least you are OK. There were two XKs being scrapped on e-bay so a door should not be too much of a problem. As proffesssional dismantlers they might even do the rear panel. I bought a sunvisor off one who turned out to be in Peterborough so might not be too far away for you.
