Hi all,

I'm looking into the idea of trading in the Panamera Hybrid for an X351 - XJ 3.0D, possibly a face-lift R sport.

What kind of range are folks getting from a tank of diesel with these? Unusually get about 1000 from 80 litres of petrol, but that's charging the batteries very day too.

Thank you for that. That's not bad at all, I would probably be the lower end for me, I'm mainly town driving.

Make sure you get the unedited service history. They can suffer fuel dilution issues because of failed DPF cleans, and stuff that dealers can’t work out.

The next question I suppose is where are you going to purchase from ? Virtually extinct on most Main Dealer Forecourts its " yesterdays car " despite what anyone else may tell you . You are then left buying Privately or from the Trade so you shall have to do your homework regarding any Warranty offered and what is covered . Buying Privately is in my view is a potential minefield . Not the question you were asking I know but one you should be considering .

Very true, and definitely well worth thinking about.

I have found one I like the look of at a main dealer l, it seems to have one owner from new. They've offered a very competitive price for the Panamera as well.
