XF 2.2D how often to change cambelt?
Discussion
Jaguar I believe changed this from every ten years down to every seven years or 100,000 miles , whichever comes sooner . I dont know the history of your car but if I was buying any secondhand Jaguar especially a Diesel I would be assuming the mileage was clocked and be changing the belt as soon as possible . I say this for mainly two reasons , the advent of the leasing market and its various penalty clauses and the fact it costs a mere £80 to have the mileage " corrected " on any Jaguar .
