Hi All

The wife has a 2017 - F Pace 2.0D Sport

Anyway today the EML has come on

I’ve checked and it’s showing

P049B-00 - EGR insufficient flow
P259A-00 - Piston Cooling oil jet solenoid control - open circuit

Now the car got an EGR valve 3 months ago at Jaguar under warranty along with a thermostat.

Now I’ve cleared the faults and the EML has gone, the wife has done 60 miles no hassle, anyway when I scan it the car is still showing the piston Oil cooling issue but it’s not showing an EML.

Any ideas? The local main dealer is horrific, I had no end of issues with my Range Rover and the Jag when we put it in so looking for tips before I do have to book it in.

I’ve got an Independant lad who can do most things - did a lot of work on my RR but I wanted to get the lowdown before going to him.

EGR insufficient flow will most likely be low pressure EGR cooler filter blocked and needs replacing.

Piston oil cooling jet is a common code to see and if it needs replacing it’s a of a job to do

Wish me luck as we're doing it tonight.

I bought the part from JLR - £130 inc vat.

Myself and pal are going to tackle it tonight, couldn't get a workshop manual but plenty of pics of where it goes etc

I'm doing this then putting it to JLR to look at the EGR as it's only 3/4 months old now.
