Nearly one month ago, the pedestrian airbags deployed on my 11 month old F Type P450 @ 11mph. I did not impact with anything.
My car is still with JLR with a stock email this morning saying it was still being reviewed by Jaguar Engineering.

Here’s a pic of where the airbags deployed-slight raise in the road.

It’s really disappointing that it’s taken so long & still not resolved with me doing most of the chasing…

Oh dear not good frown

Have you a pic of it deployed?

What damage did it cause to the car ?

Both airbags. The bonnet didn’t appear to be damaged.

Son is a JLR trained mechanic, he asked did the nose contact the speed hump?

He said engineers from factory will interrogate the ‘freeze frame data’and make a decision based on that.

Thats hard to accept Mac especially if JLR deny any liability . Back in the early days of the X150 Production when the Pedestrian Impact System was first introduced on Jaguar cars , there were one or two instances of oversensitivity of the System . Jaguar did at least initially put things right at no cost to the Owner , some other Owners simply disconnected the System which of course can lead to Insurance issues should an Accident occur and the system is found to be inoperative . Personally , on a car with several previous Owners I think proving who disconnected the system would be impossible to prove .
I think you simply have to wait on the JLR decision as regards liability . I dont know what relationship you have with the local Jaguar Dealership , they are in a position to appeal your case should the initial verdict be unfavourable at least where Warranty Claims are concerned . 11mph in my view is a relatively high speed to be negotiating speed humps in an F Type and i mean no personal criticism of you by saying that .
