Slightly saggy 2004 XJ headlining
Discussion
Besides essentially tacks, are there any "cheap" ways to sort slightly saggy headlining in a X350 XJ. Mine is just starting to go around the sunvisors; not so noticeable at the moment. I've no idea with replacing a headlining on these models costs (though posted X300 costs don't look too bad). I wonder if there are any "tricks of the trade" to do a localised repair before it gets too bad.
They all do that.
Mine went from a couple of bubbles to the whole lot hanging down in weeks. Solution is either just pin it back up which I've done or scrape the board clean and reapply a new lining whilst upside down with the board in situ or take the board out and fit a new one.
Myrtle offer a finished board which is flexible enough - they say - to easily go in through an open door and clip back in place.
