I know we've had discussions about the Bowers & Wilkins premium sound system in the X150 before but I can't find any discussion about volume.
I've always been surprised at how much I have to turn mine up to get a reasonable volume. I've got a convertible so things are always going to be compromised.
The other day I was come home and Strange Brew came up as the next track and so I turned it up and found I'd hit full volume, far from my ears bleeding, it wasn't even really that loud.
How do other people find theirs?
Is there something wrong with mine?

Some interesting comments on here especially regarding settings
Personally I havent found anything to rival the Alpine System which I had in a couple of my X350 Jaguars , even the Meridian System in the F Type can be underwhelming especially when using Spotify . I ended up switching to Apple and things seem to have improved

Thanks Red, I had a bit of a play around in the settings and it's helped a bit, moving the "focus" of the sound to nearer the driver seems to have made some difference, I can feel the door card vibrate now biggrin I'll play further. Seems I'm not the only one. It still doesn't make the kind of noise you'd think of a 500W system making. Still from the amount of cooling fans that seem to run in the front of the cabin where all the electronics gubbins are I guess something is using a lot of power.

Remind me, is your car a 4.2 or a 5.0? I had the B&W system in both of my XKRs, I'm convinced the one in my 4.2 was louder than that in my current 5 litre car, and had fuller bass sound.

Duh!
Sorry, it's a 2010 5L convertible.

Maybe there is some difference in the amps or something. I know the head units changed a few times, hardware and software, that could have something to do with it as well.
