Taking an XE to Europe

I'm intending a long road trip through Europe. Obviously I need to change the headlight beam for driving on the right but I can't find any information on whether the lights can be switched over by some hidden mechanism or whether I just need a beam converter stuck on the lens itself.

If anyone knows the answer I'd appreciate the help.
