I have to agree with the first comment beneath the Article , what about the charging Infrastructure ? Every New Home in future I read somewhere will have to be built with an EV Charging Point but that wont be enough surely ?

I don't actually mind the idea of driving a Jaguar EV, I'd just like it to look nice, not like a slightly deformed box.

I don’t mind the idea of an electric car for driving into town / doing errands etc but what worries me is the fact that Jaguar have committed to offering only electric cars from 2025.

What happens if / when there’s not the required take up by then and / or the government of the day decides to kick the can down the road and extend the date from 2030 to 20 who knows when to retire ICE cars? And companies like Jaguar find themselves with a portfolio of expensive (and undoubtedly very nice) electric cars that not many people want?

While other companies have read the mood and have still continued to develop and sell petrol / petrol hybrid and full electric cars.

Also to keep in mind, there’s plenty of markets around the world where ICE cars / hybrids will still be allowed to be sold. The world isn’t the UK / EU

Just my humble thoughts….
