My parents recently bought a 2007 XK150, its the 4.2 V8 but to be honest it does everything they want from it, it actually reminds me of my old R129 500SL the way it goes down the road, it can get a hustle on when you want to and the V8 makes a pleasing noise.

I've been scouting around for a decent Jaguar forum but didn't really find anything, I was wondering if anyone knows who makes the OEM oil filter, I didn't really want to go to Jaguar and pay over the odds when its probably made by Wahle or someone similar?

Does anyone know of a Jaguar specialist in Northamptonshire who might be well positioned to service the car or for repairs? Any advice appreciated.

Cheers

EE in Milton Keynes is probably amongst the best in the Area . Oil Filters are available from many Sources , the last I looked Europarts had a couple of options , Mann around £8 . From memory I think the genuine Jaguar item is around £20 . Forums are plentiful so take your pick . To be fair there are a few knowledgeable Owners on here Hoping to see your father at Earls Barton Classic Car Meetings during the coming Summer , always a pleasant gathering of local enthusiasts .

David Marks garages seems to be the go to choice for JEC members in the midlands.

As far as oil filters go I buy whichever known make comes up cheapest on ebay which is fine...

...So long as it doesn't do this when you fit it. eek
