I have always been a keen viewer of Anglia Auctions Classic Sales and this 1959 Jaguar Mk1 has an interesting history . Obviously plenty of money
to be made cleaning windows .

Yes, but it includes a bucket, sponge and folding ladder in the boot.

Don’t understand this

The 'GF 2' numberplate is non‑transferable and thus will need to stay with the vehicle.

How can that be enforced?

Quite easily I think its possibly stamped on the Log Book . You usually find this situation when a car has significant Racing History attached , I suppose the fact that the car was Formbys means it has historical significance ?

Had the number been transferable the plate alone would be worth approx £100K.... It will state " None Transferable Number " on the front of the V5 Just the same as the infamus " 1 AN " stuck on the Moggy Minor...

That car looks familiar. Was it on TV about a year ago, or possibly being sold before?
