Definitely not inspired by the Brave Pill thread, I've just bought an X150 XK 4.2 in my quest to improve the environment.
It's got Dunlop SportMaxx on the front and P Zeros on the rear, none of which are bald but equally none of which are particularly meaty and I want to put a set on it. I believe the SportMaxx are not well regarded - are P Zeros a good bet?

I’ve put Michelin pilot sport Cup 2s on my 2011 XKRS and it’s transformed the way it drives, Porsche don’t fit them as standard to the high powered GT3s for no reason…It's got Dunlop SportMaxx on the front and P Zeros on the rear, none of which are bald but equally none of which are particularly meaty and I want to put a set on it. Can you let us know how you get on wih them?
My son and I have Dunlops on the rear of our XKRs, he's just had his fitted to replace some horribly cheap ditch finders his came with. I've had the Dunlops on the rear of mine for a couple of years and haven't really had any issues with them, certainly a massive improvement on the slightly oversized, weird handling Pirellis that were on it when I bought it.
I had Michelins on my old Boxster a few year ago and thought they were very good, but not sure if it's worth paying the premium for Michelins for the XKR when I fit new tyres in a few thousand miles time.

I'm on my second XK, this one is a 2010 XKR, and previously an XFR... I've run Yokohamas on all of them, and would say they have been better than previous Continentals & Pirellis (I wouldn't bother with Dunlops, poor grip & high wear rate)...but I recently needed new tyres on the XKR & found that I could get Michelins (PS4) for about the same cost as Yokohamas, so I've gone with Michelins...first impressions are good grip, but slightly noisier...
