Been looking for a X350 XJR or XF SV8 for months now. Where have all the good cars gone? Literally a handful on the market and none I'd want to buy.

Very frustrating.

The X350 XJR was probably amongst the least common models for what was numerically not a largely manufactured range of vehicles , that said they are easily enough found . The question one needs to ask is either British or Japanese Import . I have been a Jaguar Enthusiast and Owner all my life and I have been hugely impressed by some of these Imports especially if you can find one in the right spec . JagWestLondon have usually a good selection .
Domestically there are still some nice ones out there , inevitably however they arent cheap and rightly so in my opinion .

Thanks for your comments. Some lovely stock, this looks great - https://www.jagwestlondon.co.uk/vehicle-details.ph...

Strong money though! But I guess that's what they need to charge.

Much more than I am prepared to pay.

I think you will find them prepared to negotiate on price , the best of them still fetch good money though how many are actually selling at that money is open to question .

These People here for example have been carrying the same X350 and X358 Models for close to a year . Again big money and again unsold . Make an offer .

The cars for the Japanese market went down the same production line as UK/euro market cars, so have the same level of rust protection etc (not always the case with Japanese market cars), although that's not such an issue with the X350, obviously!

XF SV8; I can't imagine that there are many around on the market as I don't recall there being many of them originally. I've always thought that their wheels were probably the best looking ones on the XF.

Those wheels were optional on the 3.0d S as part of the Dynamic option pack...

Edit - forgot to answer the OPs question... XJR for me, but have you thought about an S-type R as well?

I did consider the S-type R but just can't live with that front grill.

I purchased a SV8 this morning. only 58k miles.

Collect in 2 weeks time.
