My Sportbreak thinks I am currently in Brussels, however last time I checked Clevedon was in the west country.
The GPS icon has a line through it.
I have tried turning off the infotainment, but I am still in Belgium.
I tried to put my home address as a destination only to be told that I need to refuel to get home - I was parked on my drive at the time!
Would be grateful for any ideas.
Many thanks

GPS aerial probably, when we bought our '14 plate Sportbrake last November it thought it was still in the Paisley area (where the P/O lived) and the GPS icon was displayed and struck out like you describe. We got it sorted on warranty so I can't give you any idea of the cost but it's a relatively common fault so any main dealer or specialist worth their salt will be fairly well practiced in replacing it.

We bought the car from a branch of Arnold Clark so had to take it to them initially because it was on warranty - they ordered the wrong part and then couldn't figure out where the right one should go, so they booked it in to Jaguar and it got done there biggrin

Thanks for both answers 🤞 that the first option will resolve it, failing that there is a well regarded indie (Swallows) relatively close to me.
It intrigues me as to why the system defaults to Brussels & not, say, Coventry.
Will update this thread to advise how it has been resolved

The struck-through GPS icon means it isn't receiving any/sufficient GPS signal, it says as much in the owner's handbook. In that event I can't see how calibration will help but by all means give it a shot.

Update - have tried
the fuses, interestingly they are different amps to the handbook (much like my old Passat)
double locking the car
disconnecting the battery (including touching the two leads together)

Still no joy, so will have a word with my indie & in the short term consider using Waze.

Really appreciate the advice chaps. Thank you.

Different car, but in my XK when the satnav lost its bearings and was tracking all over the country it was caused by a corroded aerial. The Jaguar one was out of stock so my clever mechanic found something on Amazon for about £10 that fixed it smile

100% you need a new roof pod. I’ve replaced a fair few of them now for the exact symptoms you’re describing and it’s fixed every single one

OP with a further update.
Delighted to find that after three weeks, normal service has resumed without any further investigation. No idea why/how it has fixed itself, only that it happened on starting the car today & not during/after a long run.

Exactly my experience. I deduced the antenna had dried out enough to work again. I think yours will fail again, probably in wet weather.
