Tracking down an E type
Discussion
After the recent passing of my father and going through some old family photo albums, I’m trying to trace the history of one of his old cars he owned in the late 70’s: a red series 3 manual coupé.
Registration number was XWH7L
A brief search on the road tax & MOT database shows it’s still on the road.
Would be fantastic to make contact with the current owner. I could provide some scans of the old photos of the car and maybe fill in some gaps in the history.

I would approach all the Jaguar/E-Type clubs and also post on the various relevant forums. Here's one: https://www.jaguarforum.com/forums/jaguar-e-type.4...
I used to be a member of the XK-Club which has a sister organisation, the E-Type club, https://www.e-typeclub.com/
The XK-Club magazine has a month section on "where are they now" for tracking down cars, so I image the E Type club will do to.
For XKs there is www.xkdata.com and again there's an E-Type equivalent. http://xke.collectordata.com/ I had a quick look for the reg and didn't spot it.
Another site to look at might be http://www.jag-lovers.com, you could try the forums there but they seem to be broken at the moment. https://forums.jag-lovers.com/
