Can anyone recommend a Jag specialist in/near Exeter?

I'm tempted by XF estates at the moment, I've always liked them (had a couple of great drives the length of Scotland in the distant past) and to be frank at around 2 years old it seems like you get an awful lot of car for the money.

Only thing stopping me at the moment (other than lockdown...) is that I'm very reluctant to be stuck with just the main dealer for servicing, especially as this would hopefully be a long term keeper, hence the question.

Thanks!

I know it's a bit out of your way, but I can very strongly recommend Swallows Independent Jaguar up at Rooksbridge (off J22 M5), who've done a lot of work on my XKR. I know it's a long way to go from Exeter, but I go to them from not much further up the M5 because it's worth it. They offer courtesy cars too, so it's not too much of a hassle going that far up.

There are two others I know of further into Devon past Exeter, AJ Tech just past Chudleigh Knighton on the A38 and LP Autotech, near Dunkeswell just off Exeter.

HTH

I would go to Swallows over either of the nearest MDs (Exeter or Taunton) due to price vs what you get for it.

Happy to talk in detail, if needed.

Seconded Swallows. They were immediately what I thought when I saw the thread title, regardless of distance.

Always have a nice selection of cheap XJs to fill the driveway with too!

ETA: you can go walk round the gorge or something whilst they do the work.

That is a fair old way to trek to Swallows as I am on the wrong side of Exeter... A good specialist is worth it though.
