F Pace SVR - experiences?
Discussion
Hi all,
Due to a a house move, we have made the decision to change from 2 cars down to one. At the moment we have a Lexus RX (recently stolen and as yet unreplaced) and I have a C63 coupe. I'm not ready to give up on the v8 bark and don't want anything too big. Narrowed my choices to either F pace SVR or a mercedes GLC63s. A colleague has the glc, so have their views on that but wondered if anyone could give a view on the ride quality of the svr, what it's like to live with as a daily.
We don't do many miles so fuel not a concern (probably about 8000 in a normal year - 3000 in pandemic times), but we have a large dog who hates the back seat in the c63 - and frankly i hate that he has to go in there...
so masses - what would you say are the positives and negatives of the SVR and anyone has a comparitve view against the GLC that would be ace.
thanks,

Hmm - what to say...
I’ve had my F-Pace SVR for almost 2 years now and they are great cars (it replaced an XFR) and I did consider the GLC63 but never test drove.
Handling is superb and even better than the XFR despite being an SUV - that’s progress!
The jag is a perfect size for what I wanted (family holidays etc) the engine is great, really great...
The jag’s tech is not cutting edge and I do think the facelift interior is a big upgrade but very happy with my car. I have no desire or plans to change my car any time soon.
Buy with confidence.

I test drove one a year ago and loved it. I got spooked by the fuel and bottled it. I went for an X3 M40i which is really good, but always regretted not going for the Jag. I plan to get an F Pace SVR early next year after I’ve had the BMW 2 years.
I already have an F Type R V8, so understand the tech, but that engine...
