Power restriction when running-in?

I’ve just picked up my new F-Type R and have driven relatively gently home. I did give it a proper squirt a couple of times and I got told off and it went into restricted power mode. It reverts to normal if you switch off and on but does anyone know I’d this is a running-in thing?

Otherwise will have to dive into the settings!

I have solved my own problem. Car was in snow mode - now unshackled and considerable performance and noise released!

When you start up doesn't it use normal mode by default (unless you've left it in Dynamic/snow recently beforehand?) What year's the car by the way - guess brand new from the running in reference? Just wondering how you got into snow mode, unless you selected it yourself.

Yes, new - picked it up yesterday morning. Suspect snow mode may be enabled for the delivery drivers and it didn't obviously show on the dash... Going out in it again later so will see if all is fine!
