We've agreed a deal on a lovely 14 plate XF S Sportbrake, just waiting for the dealer to rectify some minor cosmetic damage before we complete the deal and collect the car. We test drove it at the weekend and I spotted that the navigation system isn't working right - it thinks the car is still in Glasgow, we're in Aberdeen. On the navigation screen there's a GPS icon which is scored out and the manual explains this means there is no GPS satellite reception. We drove the car for about an hour over mostly open ground so I can't see how it couldn't see any of the satellites.

I have an XKR already and I know what these cars are like with things like battery voltage - could that be the real issue? Or maybe because the car was transported on a lorry, maybe the navigation system needs recalibration? Or maybe something else like the aerial has a fault, perhaps?

That will be the GPS antenna simple to change about £100 from Jaguar.
