I've recently purchased a 2003 X350 XJR, and it's a fabulous thing, I love it.

However, my slight OCD is bothered by the orange reflectors at the end of the chrome bumper strip on each side. I'd like to replace them with either chrome or clear equivalents, however a quick Google shows nothing beyond clear side repeaters.

Is there such a thing out there?

I chrome wrapped mine. They're not perfect, but an improvement to my eyes:

Funnily enough I ordered some chrome wrap last night! Are they easy enough to remove without breaking them?

They're not bad. From memory, there are spring clips at the top and a notch at the bottom. With a little gentle persuasion they come out top first.

The chrome wrap doesn't quite match the rest of the chrome but it's close enough for a cheap improvement. Stretching it over the shape of the reflector to minimise wrinkles was the hardest part.

Oh, pics of your new jag please!

That's the only one I've got so far. 2003 XJR, bought unseen from a fellow PHer. I absolutely love it!

Well done; the X350/X358 R is the world's best kept fast saloon secret.

I chrome wrapped the reflectors, not brilliant (lots of creases at the pointy end) but they'll do at the moment

I'm glad I'm not the only one to have that issue! A hairdryer helped a bit...

(lovely Jag, btw!)
