Jaguar C Type rep.
Discussion
Hi, I didn't build it, I bought it in finished, SVA'd condition. It was built from a Realm Engineering set of chassis and body parts.

All that I have done is add the roundels, Ecurie Ecosse shields etc. I have 'modelled' it on XKC052.
"XKC 052The second Lightweight C-Type, this car was entered at Le Mans in 1953 for Peter Whitehead and Ian Stewart. They finished fourth overall by the two sister cars and one of the mighty Cunninghams. It was raced once more by the factory team, at the Goodwood Nine Hours where an oil pressure ended the race early. Along with its two sister cars, it was sold to preferred customer team Ecurie Ecosse. They entrusted the car to Jackie Stewart's older brother Jimmy, who raced the C-Type with great success, scoring wins at numerous tracks including Goodwood and Snetterton. Roy Salvadori also won with this car before it was sold on to Peter Blond. It was then raced in local events by Blond and subsequent owners Maurice Charles, Jim Robinson, Alan Ensoll and Tom Candlish through to 1959."
