Take it straight back to Jaguar & they'll sort it, it's not common but sometimes due to how thin the paint is on modern cars it can sometimes happen.

Take it back. It could have been pre-delivery damage repair carried out by the dealer. Much more common than most people think.

Sometimes done to manufacturing standards, sometimes done by the local chips away who sent the new guy that day...

Thanks for the reply’s, it’s actually in the inner arch of the wheel, and only under one arch , don’t understand why it’s doing it , the car Is only 18 months old , will more rust appear soon ?

The answer is more than likely more rust will appear. Once it gets going, who knows how far it will head. It’s like dry rot or damp in a house and therefore needs sorting.

Call Jag Service and book it in for inspection and they should repair under warranty.
