ULEZ : Daimler Super V8/Jaguar XJR X308

Hello

Just wondering if anyone knows what the emissions differences are between the X308 Jaguar XJR and the Daimler Super V8.

For some reason the Super V8 is ULEZ compliant, yet the (my...) XJR isn't.

I always assumed they had the same running gear.

Depends on year of manufacture. AJ26S 4.0L supercharged V8 engine in XJR, XKR and Daimler Super V8 up to 1999 is not compliant with Euro 4, but, despite being older than the Euro 4 standard, the AJ27S 4.0L supercharged V8 in XJR, XKR and Daimler Super V8 from 2000 onwards is compliant. All cars had to comply by 2005, but there's nothing to say they couldn't well before that date.
