Breaker wouldn’t be much I wouldn’t have thought. Is the part common to the normal XK?

You could try posting on a specific XK/R forum eg https://www.jaguarforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=53

Touch it up with a liquid chrome pen - 1mm nib - Amazon:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Molotow-Liquid-Chrome-Pum...

You can apply direct with the pen to the button, or use a small dish to collect a little liquid (by pressing the tip down a couple of times on it); then use a very fine artist brush to the area you want to cover.

£6 for the pen and you can pick up a brush (or a set useful for other detailing needs - like stone chip touch-up) for a couple of pounds as well.

No worries! Glad you got a good result with it - crazy prices for a whole replacement piece when with a careful bit of touching in with the chrome pen you can’t tell the difference from new! thumbup
