2020 F-Type Looks Interesting
Discussion
This could be great but lots of questions such as engines, manual/auto etc.

The return to a straight six sound interesting.
I hope it's more effective in the F-Type
That's gotta be twice what an E-Type really made in terms of grunt and only barely half a second ahead at 60.
Hopefully the F-Type will be a good 30% lighter than the full on whale.

Shows just how lardy arsed vehicles have become! nigh on 400BHP and they can only just crack 6s to 60. That's gotta be twice what an E-Type really made in terms of grunt and only barely half a second ahead at 60.

JLR claim my grandad-spec 4-pot XE has 300 ponies, 295 lb ft and 5.4 to 60, with a limited top speed of 155...
Something is a bit dodgy there!

They might well be for the Range Rover Sport HST- seeing as that’s the first car it’s available in and the only other so far is the defender!JLR claim my grandad-spec 4-pot XE has 300 ponies, 295 lb ft and 5.4 to 60, with a limited top speed of 155...

Yes, if you follow the link at the top through to the engine it is talking about the Range Rover Sport and it weighs in at 2.3 tons apparently. Well, ohh, I really hope Jaguar do something with the bland, boring interior of the current "F".
The current seats look about as emotive as a saddle on a slug. What possessed the body corporate to think everyone would want thinbacks? They look hideous, even if they're comfy?
For a car pitched at target money such as M4/ M3 territory, I feel Jaguar are barking up the wrong tree.
I've tried hard, really hard, to convince myself to buy a new F-type over the past year or so and spend my hard-earned in a Jaguar showroom, but it always boils down to the same quandary - there's no serious emotion or empathy been used in the interior design, at all.
Please, Jaguar, don't let the same interior design team spoil the "new" F interior - even if the exterior has only marginally been tweaked.
Come on, Jaguar and Julian Thompson - EMOTION, EMOTION, EMOTION - that's what sells cars at this level....

So, the update version is on JaggWarzz web portal.
Is it just me, or has Julian spent too much time looking at the front end of an Audi TT while he's been restyling the F-type?
Oh dear, not another step closer to Audi? Soon we shall have only one design, the amorphocar. Is it just me, or has Julian spent too much time looking at the front end of an Audi TT while he's been restyling the F-type?
