Any help with history of this OTS S1 E-type, from Bromsgrove
Discussion
Hi all,
I have just bought a 1962 blue series 1 E type OTS reg PVV 21.
To the best of my knowledge:
It was first purchased by Mark Giles in 1962, who died in 2012 and his wife, Maureen, then took over ownership.
Unfortunately she is now old and her health is deteriorating. All the history is missing.
The car was obviously loved and has spent the last couple of years at Fisher Restoration in Worcs.
Prior to that it was well know around the Bromsgrove area.
It had a full rebuild, possibly around 1985-90 and ran in the 1986 International commemorative E-type rally to I think Switzerland.
Around this time there was an article on it some magazine, as a photo of a photo from the article exists on:

XKE Data - 850545 - Jaguar E-Type (XKE) information, articles, photos and register
Keeping track of every Jaguar E-Type...with your help.

I would love to find who posted the article and/or find the whole piece, not easy as I don't know what magazine it is!
As I said, the car has been loved and I would like to compile a retrospective history just to preserve the information.
My email is above, but I have seen on the forums that you have sometimes offered to post requests for information in the club magazine.
If so I would be really thankful for any help in finding anything out about the car, or people who knew Mark and so on, and if anyone recognises the article from the photo uploaded in January 2017 to XKE data it would be wonderful!
Many thanks
